Michael Armstrong is Vice President, Customer Success and leads the Mariner xVu™ team responsible for establishing strategic direction and supporting analytics. His team is committed to ensuring the xVu value proposition remains relevant in the evolving space of video analytics.
Michael has almost 20 years of telecommunications experience at Southwestern Bell Telephone, SBC Communications and AT&T. Within these companies, he has led both wireline and wireless organizations including field technicians, customer care agents, support staff, network planning and engineering, merger planning and competitive intelligence. Most recently, Michael built a new organization whose focus was to improve NPS for AT&T’s IPTV video and broadband services. A graduate of the highly selective AT&T Leadership Development Program – a fast-track and highly coveted rotational management program that included only 30 participants across the company in his class – Michael holds degrees in both Mathematics and Electrical Engineering from Kansas University.
Responsible for business strategy and analytics at xVu, Michael applies a strong background in investigation, analysis and research to identifying and developing business solutions and customer products that bring value to the end-user experience.
A proud resident of Dallas, Michael spends his time outside of the office with his wife and three children – usually at the side of a soccer field.
